    Usual back seven.

Saka, Eze, Trossard and Merino I’d expect.

Frustrating to be going into this match with an injury-plagued attack, but if we can get through this game with a win (by any means necessary), then we should (touch wood) be in a very, very strong position after the break, with all the players we've got coming back.

This is going to be an extremely difficult match - Sunderland are a very good team and our former player, Granit Xhaka, has been a vital component to their success this season. The battle with him and Rice will be intriguing.

They can defend well and have some dangerous attacking players, especially on the counter.

They have nothing to lose going into this, so I expect them to really come at us and be aggressive in what will be a hostile atmosphere at the SoL.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if we drop points here, but I am hoping we have enough in the tank to get the win, especially after a relatively comfortable night in Prague last night where we didn't really get out of 2nd gear.

    Let's hope the boys deliver...

It's the one time I welcome the international break. Gives us a chance to get some players back.

We just really need the Saka limp to come out in force once the game is won, and Rice and Eze too... and then Arteta to give Tuchel a quick call and to let him know they won't be going on England duty as they're so injured. Then straight back into the starting line-up for Spurs :D

Should be a routine win, Sunderland are where they are in the table because everyone else is **** - not because they (Sunderland) are brilliant.

Put them under pressure from the off, let them know what its like playing a title contender. Not sure why anyone thinks it should be a hard game, lets look at their games so far:

Beat a **** Brentford who had a new manager
    Lost to Burnley
Beat a piss poor West Ham
    Beat a **** Notts Forest
    Drew with Villa
    Drew with Palace
    Beat a **** Chelsea
    Beat a piss poor Wolves
    Lost to a **** Man U
    Drew with a **** Everton

I don't see what in that lot we are supposed to be worried about.

Nah, Sunderland are where they are on merit. Also Xhaka has been a very good signing for them and they've become a difficult team to beat. They are well organised and are currently full of confidence.

No such thing as a routine win. We will need to go there and be at our best if we want to earn our 3 points.

Yeah, agreed. We can't dismiss them so easily.

The SoL is an intimidating place to go and they'll all be right up for this one as they're riding on the crest of a wave at the moment.

Their manager is also very tactically astute and they made some smart signings over the Summer.

We will definitely need to be on our A-game to get 3 points from this.
