They are still around, going strong in the supermarkets. Mrs Macs is a decent pie brand, nothing better than a proper pie shop of course. Some belters around the coastal area of Nsw
I've never bought a warmed up one. I don't tend to buy hot food (as in heated up in the shop) and I'm not a coffee drinker. I'm not a big one for pies, but two that I buy every few weeks are Pukka varieties - or very occasionally an M&S luxury one. As Elfs has said M&S do great quality food, but you have to pay for it. An occasional indulgence.
I was over in New Zealand as well then, thinking I may not go back etc. Are they a New Zealand or an Aussie pie? Either way they were VERY nice.
Gotta respect a man who knows his pies. The Peters pie is lovely but very dry, unlike the Pukka ones who are a bit more juicy and not in need of some gravy. Kojak's waistline says he is more of an expert on a pie than me so let him tell his awaiting audience on his view.
Had a lovely evening. Our adorable sausage/pincer cross was taken for her evening walk to pic up Mrs Elfs from pilates. On the way back we passed a restaurant for somewhere to eat, conveniently only 3 minutes walk from the entrance of our favela. Mrs Elfs was tired and is used to eating out 4 times a week, it is still 28 degrees at 18.00 over here. 7 spirits, doubles easily, a healthy dose of breaded chicken, some skewers of meat(one for our beautiful dog). All for way under £25 Quality of life but know my roots from Catford and Lewisham. #hateStarmerandKhan
