But of a Dad's Army squad that is mind. Probably the oldest ever assembled. But players are better looked after now and know what it takes to keep going. England will start the first test with virtually no serious cricket in them for several months. A lot depends on a fully fit Ben, a massive amount. If he can bowl like he did in the summer, we can maybe win this series. But if he can't bowl it's a big ask. Even worse if he can't play, we have no chance IMO. They look like kids without their dad when he isn't playing sometimes. Few touring teams win these days, the odds are massively against them. But if England can get on top, it doesn't take much for the Aussie media to turn against their own team. Then ....
