Cattermole, imo he'd be straight on the transfer list. We dont have a great squad but centre midfield is arguably our strongest area (colback, meyler, vaughan, Gardner). Sell to the highest bidder and put the money toward a new striker in January. He's had enough chances now imo.

If we were as flush with strikers id send Bendtner packing too but we aren't and we gain nothing financially really from sending him back. End of the season he's not our problem. Fine and formal warning. Like it or not he's probably our best striker, hopefully this might give him the kick up the arsenal he needs and his apology comes in the form of goals.

Sell him. Solves the problem straight away.

Assuming the reported events are true, I think he's made MON's decision a lot easier to be honest regarding the captaincy

How can you give Cattermole and Bendtner a different punishment just because of how important they are to the team, that's not a good stance against it.

They either did it or there are two good lookalikes. CCTV all over the place.......(Unless they have a very good alibi)......I dunno maybe Catts was waiting outside the pizza shop while Bendtner begged for a couple of freebies........

Maybe they were seen on CCTV at the time of the incident, maybe they were't involved in the actual incident but were there. Maybe the incident happened before their arrival and it's a coincidence.

Not defending them as IF they have damaged cars like common vandals I would throw the book at them.

The OP, who says that he would punish Bendtner equally with Cattermole were it not for the fact that you don't have a wealth of striking options <ok>

    This!
I have been one of Cattermole's biggest supporters but if this is true then he must be sold. Unfortunate imo as he was starting to get back to form. BTW Colback will struggle without Catts. He needs him next to him and this showed last weekend. He can't do Cattermole's job (although Meyler, if he's as hood as he was looking, can)

If found guilty the see you later lee & Nik

Why would the police investigate, wait 9 days and then arrest them? They wouldn't "investigate" find they are not involved and then arrest them. Or would they??
Sorry have to disagree. Together Catts and Colback together are the WORST central midfield partnership in the premier league. No creativity, no passing, no goals.

It is a pragmatic decision we probably want rid of Catts but we have to hang onto Bendtner for a few months yet.

To be honest although I hate knobs bringing the club into dispute I'm more concerned that Catts seems lost on the pitch and Bendtner seems uninterested.

And I really am not defending this behaviour (and I think O'Neill might be a bit 'traditional' in his views towards this sort of behavior) but it's basically a couple of 23 year olds being dicks. It's not like they were snorting drugs, carrying guns, thumping lasses or stubbing out cigars in peoples eyes.
