The Baggies are on a run of indifferent form. A midweek home win might be on the cards. However, I understand we lost some players to injuries against Swansea. The team could look unusual on Tuesday.
I'm attending this one with my son, my youngest daughter and her boyfriend (a Hammer). I'm expecting a 2-0 win.
I've revised my prediction to 3-1. Kelman to score in the first half. We need to create more six-yard box chances.
I can see Kelman going on a run now . It’s what goal scorers often do. His finish on Saturday was more difficult that it looked.
Nathan Jones says he and his players are relishing the prospect of returning to The Valley on Tuesday night as the Addicks host West Bromwich Albion under the lights. Reflecting on the special atmosphere that The Valley can generate, Jones spoke passionately about what makes SE7 such a unique place for football. "The Valley under the lights can be a wonderful place to be and we’re looking forward to being back there on Tuesday," he said. "Our play-off semi-final game against Wycombe was very special and really showed what we're about as a football club. Some of the pictures from that night are now up at our training ground and in the tunnel at The Valley. The atmosphere was incredible and will stay with me, and likely everyone there, forever." With the Addicks looking to continue their strong home form, Jones knows his side will need to be at their best against a quality West Brom outfit. "West Brom are another club to visit who have played a lot of their recent history, and indeed extended history, in the top two tiers," he added. "They are well coached and have some talented players but we’ll be focused on doing what we do best. We come into the game unbeaten in four after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Swansea City and our focus is on continuing that good form."
A seperate very good source has told me that Bell & Burke definitely miss the game tonight, He had no news on Kelman. If CK is injured, surely Olaofe will get a start ahead of Leaburn ? The defence will pick itself …we are now one more injury away from serious problems. Ramsay, Jones, Gillesphey, Bree
