With Newcastle resigned to losing him from the Sports Direct in January.

What's your opinion on the best move for the lad?

Interest from Man U and Chelsea.

Chelski is where the money would be, but personally I think footballing wise he would be better suited to Man U.
Could be the player Fergie is looking for Scholes's position.

I think he is over hyped, what I've seen of him, which is limited as I have better things to do than watch them lot, he looks alright but nothing much more than that.

Only seen him play a few times and wasn't that impressed, although the barcodes seem to worship him and they are the ones who watch him every week.

He would probably be better suited to Manu as Chelsea have that Romeu kid who looks top class.

Yeah I know what you're saying mate, after all Sess was running rings round him and Barton.
Just a pity the rest of our team didn't turn up.

Like you say he looks all right, but in a good team he can only improve.

Any of them really - basically forget the Toon rivalry n'arl, he's very good and will be successful in any of the top 4 imo, also he'll would leave for a better contract. <ok>

Take it ur on about this season when he 'ran rings around him and barton', admittedly he did have a slow start to this season as did demba ba which I think in fairness to both players can be put atleast in part down to fasting for ramadan

I rate cabaye higher tbh, I think he's a superb player.

How is it bullshit? Also agree that cabaye's a better player, excellent vision and passing but tiote's there more to break up oppposition attacks and 'give it easy' if ya know what I mean

So not being able to eat during daylight hours makes you weak? BS!
Just order a take away as soon as the sunsets. <ok>
I spent most of my working life on the buildings, without eating during the day and stuffing my face on getting home.

PS. By the way, the mentally ill are exempt. (Could make a good case for it, by them signing for the Skunks.)

Tiote is a class act and is one of the best defensive mid's in the league. He will move on in the summer I think and it will probs be to Man Utd.

Do you genuinely think that if you go 12 hours without eating (and possibly without drinking) that your performance wouldn't suffer? I say that because we had a few evening kick off's during the fasting period.

    Tiote

Did you know that in French the "io" is pronounced as "wa" and the "e" at the end is silent...With this in mind, I would say that he has now found his spiritual home...<whistle>

I think if he goes to Chesea he'll be another Scot Parker when he went there, don't think he's technically good enough for a team challenging for the title and champs league. That will lead to a transfer back down the league after a season or two if he went to Chelsea.

Man Utd are desperate for centre midfielders though and he's as good as any they have currently so that wouldn't be a bad move for him but they should be looking for better e.g schneider

How can you compare your "life on the buildings", (whatever that means) to a finely tuned professional athlete. Ask ANY sports nutritionist about the AM Carb, PM Protein diet that top athletes are using 364 days per year (Christmas day maybe not) and they'll tell you that a 28 day change in this diet will destabilise your entire system.

Just because you couldn't be bothered to climb down the scaffolding and get to Greggs at 12 every day, and you didn't die as a result doesn't mean you can equally compare yourself to that of a modern day finely tuned athlete.

You seem to have forgotten the slight detail that it's not just food either, these players who often run non stop for 90 minutes covering all sorts of distances and the faithful Muslim ones must do so without taking on fluids, during fasting hours.

    Yes I can and I did. <ok>

They aren't playing football 50 hours a week, they play 90 minutes on a weekend.
Don't get me started on professional footballers (non Muslims) allegedly being tired after a few games of football.
    More BS.

It was during the summer so first half would have been in daylight!
