He'd just signed a new 3-year deal too, got to laugh...

I couldn’t understand why they gave him a new contract at the time, like West Ham they’ve sold their best players. Invested badly if at all, were do they think they should be ?

He did brilliantly and seems a really likeable bloke
No idea what they've done transfer wise but obviously it’s not good

    Always come across well.

Wolves were doing well a few seasons ago. Then the got done by UEFA on FFP rules and they constantly seem to be struggling to meet the profit and sustainability rules.

It's been ever decreasing circles with them.

From the outside looking in it seems like a situation where these rules are crap for the little guy but work for the big club.

When he replaced O’Neill last season, he was brilliant. Completely turned their season around and saved them from almost certain relegation.

O’Neill also went winless in their first 10 games last season and still got six more games before he got the sack. Wolves have acted earlier this season by getting rid of Pereira.

I don’t think it’s entirely down to the coach. Pereira had them on a six-game winning streak last season.

Sold Cunha to Manure, so there goes one of their goal threats. Don't know who else they've sold recently, but maybe they keep selling their best players? Tough ask for a new manager to keep them up this season

Sort of had one eye on Fulham v Wolves game on MOTD....I didn't recognise the name of one Wolves player except for the goalkeeper. Under Nuno they had a decent team, now they'll do well to beat Derby's 11 points. Obviously on the crest of a slump.

But it's also one of the only industries where you can be good one minute and then considered a failure the next. How many managers aren't a failure these days? Will Still and Cifuentes were next big thing candidates but like so many they get a big job in England and it ruins them. People were fawning over O'Neil a few years ago when he was on Monday Night Football and talked a good game.
