Between Broadway and Northfields, quite close to Walpole and Lammas parks. Great to have the green spaces, good transport links and the high street close by

I like Northfields. A cracking little row of shops there including a nice cafe …although no bookies.

    It’s well worth a visit.

It’s at the end of the Central line & Piccadilly line.

You’ve got Ealing Common & plenty of greenery, and a long high st (Ealing Broadway) with all the big shops & a proliferation of excellent eateries. Property prices in Ealing are sky high as a result.

The demographic is a mixture of wealthy affluent professionals - a lot of media types live around there - and a large Indian population, particularly in Southall. @PuttersCAFC might agree that Hanwell is a gem.

It’s well worth a day out there.

Easiest route for you would be the Elizabeth line right thru from Woolwich to Ealing Broadway. It takes an hour.

It happened on a train leaving Peterborough, Huntington was the next station the driver was able to stop at after the emergency cord was pulled.
A witness interviewed said that one guy arrested was black.

There is still very little information this morning from mainstream news channels.
One strange thing is that two people have been arrested, but after initially deciding that this was a terrorist incident, Police have changed their minds and are now saying the mass stabbing is not terrorism.

    How can that be?
Surely this is either terrorism or the act of a deranged (mentally ill) perpetrator. Such people never go berserk in pairs. They are always loners.
And this was not gang crime.
Gangs target members of rival gangs, even though innocent bystanders are often caught up in their violence.
This seems to have been a random attack on strangers.

There is apparently much we have not been told yet.
But as always, it would be prudent not to jump to conclusions in the absence of verified in formation about it.

They don’t seem to have the stabbings out there ? You seriously ok with how this country is going and how the government are playing this horrific incident and the one in Uxbridge down ?
