Skudamore appointed to the board: https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/scudamore-appointed-to-bristol-city-football-club-board/
I'm tending to think the same way Redprintt because, if my old memory serves me correctly, when Colin Sexstone was with us many years ago, supposedly I believe to boost our image in the football world, nothing was achieved either back then or on the long road in between then and now. Bristol City appears to me to be a club that truly doen't know what it wants to be when it's grown up and also we fail at doing what seems to be the simplest of things in a thoroughly confused manner. I remember when we played Man City in the League Cup over 2 legs and we got extreme praise from Pep and I thought maybe we could get some decent co-operation with him for future loans because he saw us as a contender that could use some good class help. Of course we let that, and I suspect many other good chances to improve, and continued to follow our blind management's road to virtually nowhere again. Perhaps that will be the role of Scudamore in that he will be a valuable sounding board to us in business planning and team development looking upwards to the Premier league, but we have heard all of that before haven't we? If indeed Scudamore can help us improve in the major components of running a successful football club then I just hope that the background noise coming from Tinnion's office down the hall doesn't upset the apple cart again, as we all think it has in our past.
