No idea, but he was all of 65 years old at the time and long past his refereeing days. I doubt he'd have called an ambulance if it was the 20/20 option, he'd be more likely to call the Guinness Book of Records.
Championship referee Gavin Ward tonight. Last seen in our dismal 3-2 loss at Oxford. Was that game the last goal Mark Harris scored in
G. Ward reffed us recently against Sheffield United, safe to say his parents got it right not naming him A(ndy) Ward. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I hope your taking the pi$$ TW as the horrible little toad retired at the end of 21/22. His last game with us was in February 2022 when we beat Peterborough 4.0. Strangely we play them on Saturday....... He was certainly no friend of ours with any number of awful displays against us over the years. Our man in black for Saturday is the man with a name more suited for The Forsytes, Sebastian Stockbridge. Another journeyman. We've never seen him before. Been doing EFL games since 2013 with a few Championship thrown in. BTW where's your disclaimer?
Apologies, I used Google to search for your referee and misread it, it was indeed that match, age shall weary them! He was no friend to us either. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine. ( It's good to be noticed, )
