Impressive. Deep knowledge combined with the common touch. If Chippy could read he would learn a lot. Now, decisions, decisions.
Another opportunity for some of our second choice players you'd think. Ramsay Miley Willock Ramsdale Osula and company. Hopefully another win and into the last 8.
Surprised to see we're 8/11 tbh and Spurs are 3/1. Spurs on form and very good away, us just about getting into form. They're gonna go for this as well, play the full first team, no question.
As holders of the cup i'd like to see us go for it and get to the final again, but on the other hand i'd rather pour of resources into the knockouts of the champions league.
Big week the three games after this one - West Ham, Athletic and Brentford the following Sunday to Sunday. Think Howe has been quite cute with Tonali resting him for two games - should mean he can run through Spurs during the week and be fit for Sunday (if he's feeling better now) with half an eye on the CL on Wednesday next week.
And obviously Hooters - I'd have dragged my balls across a desert of broken glass just to hear one of the bar maids in Hamburg fart down the phone.
If you can drag your balls down175 miles of tarmac to Melton Mowbray I'll fart down the phone for you. As the reigning fart down the phone champion of Melton Mowbray you will not be disappointed.
While I’m approximately 25 miles closer than the stated, I’ll graciously decline the offer Jim. https://hooters-hh.de/en/book/ Obviously posted for the menu options!
Eddies presser sounds like he will make a few changes. Think he’ll give Botman time off, Schar back in, Tonali coming back in as well - would you rest Bruno? He’ll want to start regardless! Think Osula and Elanga will come in as well, then possibly Willock or Ramsey for Miley.
Hard to say. On one hand, we definitely need some squad rotation ahead of Sunday's West Ham game, plus we have more CL action next week. But equally, I hope we really take the League Cup seriously again this season and put out a strong squad against Spuds. It's one of those cases where there are good arguments for either approach, but ultimately the manager gets either praised or slated for whichever route he takes, purely depending on the outcome of the game. Personally, I would rest Botman, Bruno and maybe Woltemade for this one, unless they are desperate to play. Or at least have them on the bench. Then it's about who else might be carrying minor knocks / injuries from the the Fulham game.
