Tough game. No reason why we can't win the tie though. Second leg at home is good in my opinion. If we can go to Milan and keep a clean sheet, then we have got every chance of progressing.

There are a few factors that could decide this. How will the African Nations Cup affect our players, will RVP be fit to play them and how will Wilshere come back? I think we have a good chance of beating them but we need to have our best players available to do this. What is positive is our defence is getting stronger in every match....

Not the toughest draw, Milan are not what they were. Still they should not be underestimated. Glad we are playing the second leg at home.

Could have been far worse - a trip to Eastern Europe won't have been easy, I think we're favs to win through but as Lazarus says there are a number of things that can influence this and the fact the tie is still 2 months away so much can happen between now and then.
Real having to go to Moscow won't be a walkover...

We are always a bit unlucky with the draws we get in the CL but i still think we should progress.

Will be a good couple of games and i'm looking forward to it.

I think it is the toughest draw tbh. I wanted to avoid Lyon and Milan who have proven pedigree in this competition. They aren't what they were but still gunning for the scudetto and any team with Robinho, Ibrahimovic and Pato can't be taken lightly.

Easilly the tie of the round and one of you is going out so good news for the rest of us!!!

I'd back you to go through purely because 2nd leg at home. May battle commence!!

I don't think they've had the quater final or semi final draws, actually.

It's certainly a winnable draw and I make you guys favourites but it'll be tough.

****! they're not a great team but still very dangerous with Pato and Ibrahimovic.

Bayern Munich on the other hand are THE team I wanted to avoid.(we would get them in the quatres)

We always get a ****ing hard draw. oh wel,l if we beat them it should give us alot of confidence.

The qrt/semi draws follow the outcome of these last 16 ties. No-one knows who they might get yet.

To think we each could have come runners up and got Hapoel!!

Would he not be cuptied? Not sure how it works but he definitely played in their first game against Napoli.

    Definitely cuptied.
In fact I'm not even sure you have to play to be cuptied, don't you have to name a squad of 23 players before the touny starts ? Not sure if you're allowed to add/remove players after submission though....

I'm looking forward to this one. Should be a great game, can't wait to see the outcome as a neutral.

I think we have a great chance. Rather Milan than a couple of others.

Probably the worst draw we could have got for me. Milan do have great individual talents and can hurt us. But their recent record against English teams has been pretty ****. Hopefully that plays on their minds. Also our record against teams from Italy is outstanding. Think we can hurt them with our pace. Hopefully Gervinho and Theo are fit when we play Milan. Key players already for me.

Clearly not what we wanted, and anyone who is thinking that ac milan are a washed up side are deluded. They are filled with talented players and seedorf is still an outstanding player, with players like ibrahimovic boateng robinho and pato they are a serious threat. I do still think however that we will qualify, only gervinho is going to the african nations cup and even if ivory coast make it to the final he could still even play the first leg so i don't see that as being too much of a problem for us. It is a long time till we play the first leg an there is another transfer window in that time so we may add a few more players to the squad. Also most of our injured players should be back, such a wilshere sagna gibbs jenkinson and it should be a great tie.
