Because you were basing your entire assessment on what you personally described as good chances. Ironically it was me saying it was never a 6-0 game that's landed me in this partisan nonsense. It was a close contest until Newcastle went up a gear in the last 15.
Yes, which we had more of than them. Then you said any chance is a good chance, and we had way more of those than Fulham aswell. Anyway, that'll do.
You're arguing the price of cheese. I've shown the stats.. Take the last 15 out and my original comment was accurate.
How many times man? Woltemade and Murphy post, Murphy's goal, Murphy's other one on one, Bruno's header were NOT in the final 15 minutes.
That's irrelevant. If I'd said Fulham had better chances maybe, but that's not what I said is it. Jesus for once I thought I was being balanced.
Yes it's relevant because you are saying apart from the last 15 mins there was nothing in the game, i'd say having multiple clear cut chances to their one, means there WAS something in the game in that period.
Nothing much is what I actually said of course, which I maintain. Also please take note.. Nothing particularly unreasonable I've said.
In the period you are saying they were better than us, we had 3 clear cut chances and they had 1, so your argument doesn't make much sense.
Yeah I think they were... It's just you are ignoring everything they did imo and focussing on narrow parts of the contest. .. I try to look at everything that's taking place. I actually tried earlier to say it's fine for you to think otherwise, but you either missed that, didn't read it, or decided your opinion was right, which is actually just an opinion. My opinion shouldn't matter to you this much mate... You can have yours like I said ages ago.. If it helps sooth you I never at any point said Newcastle didn't deserve to win overall.. I just didn't buy into the idea Newcastle dominated the game from start to finish.
Yeah, that's right. Why don't we just ignore the moments we scored aswell? That's a home defeat to ****ing Fulham right there!
There was actually nothing in the game score wise until the end. Murphy one one one, Woltemade hitting the post, Bruno header late on and Joelinton header were all clear cut chances we should have scored which kept them in it. I don’t remember them having any chances like that, anyone can count up speculative punts as “shots at goal”, so they were lucky to last as long as they did. Justice done in the end which doesn’t always happen.
They nearly scored a few times just the final ball and it was coming when they scored at the time. No doubt Newcastle were deserving of the win in the end because they went up a gear.
I really don’t remember them “nearly “ scoring. We had by far the better chances throughout and should have put the game to bed. Our own fault that it ended up so close. I think they will struggle if they face a few proper refs.
Hey Guys, I was travelling so didnt watch the game but can you tell me if there was anything in it for 75 mins or did we just over power them for the last 15 mins? Any details and discussion would be most welcomed!
