This is what is so suspect with the integrity of the PGMOL Yesterdays ref Peter Bankes was a late replacement for Tony Harrington everyone would think that a late replacement would mean that the allotted ref for our game was injured or ill ??? but no, he is reffing the ****ing Wolves game today so why was he pulled from our game FFS and we ended up with a ref who has now reffed us in 3 games out of 9 and what a **** show he provided it's ****ing corrupt
lets just say I was ****ing raging I know a ref who had this guy as his lino a few times and said he was ****e
He was annoying the last time too...it was a tight game and any time Newcastle were on the break or trying to get out they just held a man and he let it go.
What other clear cut chances did they have apart from the goal? That Jiminez acrobat shot wasn't a chance as he couldn't connect properly, Traore had a cross flash across goal in the first half, but again nowhere near a clear chance, what else?
Any chance is a good chance at this level... Newcastle had 3 or 4 and scored 2.. They have 2 or 3 and scored 1. The game was a tight one until Newcastle went up a gear at last... I don't know why you're so determined to think Newcastle played like prime Barcelona and should have won 6-0.. It's fine, but I didn't see it that way, that's all.
Think Toon Boy is closer to the mark for me. We had a few good chances. Murphy one on one where he should have scored and goal both outside your time scales. Big Nick hit the post. Bruno missed an open goal with a header late on. Joelinton also had a good chance and Tonali had a good shot well saved. These in addition to the two goals. Fulham were a tidy team but never threatened except for their goal. We weren't in total control but easily the better of the two teams.
"3 or 4" The two goals, Woltemade post, Murphy missed one on one, Murphy post, Bruno header, Joelinton header, Tonali shot saved, that's 8 without even mentioning Bruno's two other shots, Tonali straight at the keeper. You are just downplaying us as usual. Are you sure you actually watched the game as it doesn't sound like it.
That won't include Big Nick hitting the post or murphy's missed one on one or Bruno's missed header. Stats are relevant but never give the full picture.
Take the last 15 away and there wasn't much in it.. Our 1st came after they nearly scored for example. Definitely not a 6-0 game.
You were talking about big chances now you're throwing every opportunity in to the mix.., which is it? For clarity I said it was a close contest until the last 15....the stats indicate without the 3 or 4 chances we had late that after 75 mins the stats were pretty much identical.
They include them all? Newcastle rallied late. I agree on the full picture...that's exactly what I'm looking at. Not just missed chances.
You said any chance is a good chance so i listed them, you said we had 3 or 4 when it was at least double that which makes me question what you were watching.
One of the latest decisions was when Big Joe fouled one of their players but their player got away with the ball. Ref played on. Good so far. Big Joe then got up and ran after the player and this time fairly tackled their player and got the ball to which Ref then blows giving a free kick for the original foul!!!
Yes because they're all capable of taking any of them. Murphy took his harder one for example. The game is a battle not a penalty shootout.
Because I was trying to point out that Newcastle took 2 of their chances and Fulham 1, which is relative. The game was close until the last 15..
