Yup, seriously mate as I've said many times on here, get the detention centres built and make the families pay for their upkeep within them centres. Those that can't pay for their upkeep, make them toil for it. We need to start getting tough on this ****. If you don't deal with it, it just morphs into bigger social problems. These people lack discipline so time to start dishing some out, Chinese style. We've become way to soft and people are taking the piss.
I have mentioned before on here but the crime description "anti social behaviour" really pisses me of. Smashing windows and kicking peoples fences in is "criminal damage" that costs people money therefore should be charged as such.

As much I'd like to see them pay for it, the trouble is that a lot of folk on benefits would just be plunged into even more poverty and it would probably turn them to even more crime. I think people should be given sentences where they are made to work to pay off the equivalent damage. So if you smash up a pub and cause 20k worth of damage, then you're on a work programme for a year. There's plenty of jobs that need doing in this country. If you don't turn up, then stop their benefits completely. If you already work, then absolutely deduct the cost from their wages, even if it's £50 per week for the next however many years it takes to pay it off.

I'm not sure how this would work. I think some women prefer the protection of men being around, rather than isolating them in a carriage, which would raise several problems - one being how would you stop a man from entering a female only carriage, thus if it's late night, woman isolated on her own, in a carriage by herself....pissed man gets onboard, all the men that would protect her are segregated in other carriages with their female partners. Will they employ male guards, then the male guard attacks her. Carriages these days are not like the past, today they are all walkthrough (although not sure about the tube carriages), so how would you prevent a man from walking through that carriage, if you have an enclosed carriage, you've just upped the risk as per my earlier comments.
Actually thinking about it, wasn't that the reason we did away with enclosed carriages to reduce the personal security risk.
Tubes aren’t. Lots of trains aren’t. They could in theory move some of the pointless blobs employed to stand by ticket barriers doing **** all so they can stand on trains doing **** all instead. I think the female carriages are more to make women safe from general creepiness than being attacked which on a train is relatively rare. It’ll inevitably lead to a massive culture war debate when Gary, 6’ 3” and fond of wearing dresses, demands the right to be there.
Yeah defo should have guards or cops on trains. Long time ago now but I remember when travelling by train in Spain they had armed guards, not sure if that's just tourist areas. In Italy as well, I remember two armed cops on the train walking through the carriages. It does make you feel safer. It would work with guards, but with guards the problem wouldn't even exist for women to be segregated. Would enough women even use single sex carriages.
