Morning all. Probably Leeds for me.

Last day at work this week and hopefully should get everything finished.

Hospital should ring today and let me know what time my op is on Monday. I've woken up with a stuffy nose and sore throat. Hope that doesn't prevent the op from happening.

Mornin' all, wanted to start getting out of bed later to ease the dog into the weekend's clock change, needless to say she demanded getting up a half hour earlier than normal to toilet, annoying furry git.

Dirty leeds tonight, hoping for both teams to lose.

Morning everyone, cold days have started in Scotland so sorting out my gear.

I’ll be watching all the Leeds v West Ham game but hoping it’s dreadfully boring draw, littered with cards and injuries …

… I don’t want the latest West Ham manager to gain any momentum.

Evening all. Spoke to the hospital. She said if I have obvious signs of an infection or a fever or the cold symptoms are worse by Monday, don't go, and ring them to let them know.

If it's still just mild cold symptoms, follow the prep advice and go to the hospital as planned and the anaesthetist will make a final decision about if it's safe to have the surgery or not.

Advised to do the usual rest, keep warm, plenty fluids and that over the weekend to give myself the best chance of recovery.
