Coventry v Watford. Watford travel to top of the table, who haven't lost, this Saturday. Can Javi's men maintain the good last 70 minutes at home to beat WBA? Will he start with a similar line up? I won't be here to see it as it is the weekend before day of the dead and my wife's family have decided to have the celebrations this weekend. Her mother passed when she was young. However, a graveyard celebration will be prepared and had this Friday night which might go on late despite being a weekend early. Enjoy the game all!
What is scary about Coventry is that they have scored nearly two and half times as many goals as us and conceded two-thirds what we have conceded. However, I remember when.... And, didn't Steve Sherwood score against Coventry? Selvik hat-trick incoming.
I was at that game when Steve Sherwood scored. Only game on in the West Midlands as we were joined by a couple coach loads of Leyton Orient fans whose game at Walsall was cancelled. Only time I remember us winning there when I have gone. Seen us lose 4-0 [we were on sky] 5-1 [League Cup replay], and 4-1 (I think, more recently).
I could only see half of the pitch, they definitely scored five and it was totally pants. On reflection I don't remember us scoring either, but I haven't looked it up. Miserable evening, the away end was rammed.
