    They'd fit the formation, but I think that in a real team it wouldn't be long before Ronaldo and Messi started their own game of one upmanship which would more than likely not end up in the teams interests.

    Maybe not, but I just have a feeling that they wouldn't compliment each other.

    <ok>

    After a while I cannot see Ronaldo passing the ball to Messi. His ego would get in the way.

    World XI as of now i'd go for -4-3-3 Casillias,Lahm,Pique,Carvahlo,A.Cole, Xavi,Fabregas,Iniesta,Ronaldo,Persie,Messi. Subs - Neur,Ramos,Robben,Ribery,Silva,Rooney,Drogba

    True, but I can see Messi passing the ball to Ronaldo a lot, and Ronaldo never passes to anyone for Real anyway ;) I reckon Messi wouldn't mind that to be fair - he's managed to play well in the same team as Eto'o and Ibra and Ronaldo's twice the player of either of them. I reckon the two of them would be lethal together with Ronaldo up front and Messi operating in the space behind him.

    I agree with that Swarbs. I was basing the ego thing on the CL final a couple of years ago, when the build up was all about Ronaldo vs Messi, and Ronaldo tried to win the game on his own, espaecially at the start. I think he believed the hype.
