Sheehan needs to change things - his selection hasn’t really worked all evening, even before the red card. We need Galbraith in midfield, so Key will have to come, and at the same time I’d also bring on Widell - Stamenic and Inoussa to come off. Later on I’d introduce Ronald and Vipotnik for Eom and Idah.
Instead of a blanket rule that one player's face touched another, so it's a red - have some common sense. If he's gone down like that then it must have been a forceful headbutt, so review it later and if it's not then ban the player who's dived for three games. It'll soon stop. The beautiful game my arse. Almost (100%?) every single player cheats and feigns injury, it's pathetic.
Not good enough with 11 players, at home. Not good enough to go for it with 10 minutes left with 10 men. Very disappointing.
We've been the better team tonight. You would never think we were down to 10 men. Disappointed to not get anything out of it.
It obviously wasn’t for nothing. We’ve all had a drink. We should have put it to bed with the chances in the second half but I thought the game plan from Sheehan to keep it tight and have a go in the last 20 minutes was the right one. I know Idah has been a bit underwhelming but thought he showed what he’s about and we struggled with him throughout the half when he wasn’t getting a lot of help. Seen enough of him the last few years to think he’ll come good at this level.
I thought that Rangers were the better team throughout - both before and after after the red card. We only really were ‘ on top’ at the end of the game when we were chasing an equaliser and they seemed to get nervous, Galbraith was wasted at right back: if Key isn’t good enough at present, play Parker or Casey there!
Very disappointing performance against a compact QPR team...the same tactics as used against Southampton especially at home was not going to create an atmosphere from then fans to drive the team forward...we win the ball upfield and then pass back to Vigoreux who kicks up field in hope that the ball reaches one of our players....very rarely...Valcouye got suckered in and had to go.....Galbraith was wasted at full back....so little attacking at speed....need a win on Saturday just to keep us in midtable....it was that bad that my wife left at half time
