Excellent article and exposure in Nat Geo, a lot of seemingly different projects will all complete together next year.
Hopefully they had the sense to impose penalty clauses in the contract for delayed completion... or was that too much to ask.
There'll be a blip at some point so they can drag it out for another 3 years, pretty much like all the major works around the city
Due to be open in the Spring according to the last update, which was a month ago, though there still looked a lot to do last time I went past. Maybe they can have a joint opening party with Castle Street...
It certainly doesn't seem to be with these infrastructure projects . Highways England projects massively overrun on time and cost . If there where clauses they would all have gone bust . Private sector building runs a lot quicker .
Maybe they want to open the new road , Queens Gdns and the Maritime stuff on the same day / weekend for maximum impact - or will wait for rail electrification - never then .
