Yeah I've been 21 for a really long time. I went to a state school which apparently is one of the best in the area, but I thought it was pretty awful. Not the school's fault though, the Government just doesn't care about us.
I predicted a draw about a month ago, prior to Saint's slight dip in form and Pompey's upturn in fortune. We are nowhere near as good away than at home with the exactly the same being the case with Pompey. I make Pompey narrow favourites to win, but I still favour a draw, probably 1-1, which I would take all day long!
What else do you want them to do? People complain but they don't do anything to resolve the problems that arise. They can't solve everything, come on you've got great schools and universities, you just don't know it because you've probably not seen or other schools and universities in other countries in the EU.
The goverment don't give a **** about middle class or lower families. Long as the toffs get good results in their exams and keep paying their massive yearly fee's all is good.
Anyone that doesn't think that the Tories are only in it for the wealthiest top 5% in the country are living in cloud cuckoo land, the people that are really suffering from the Government's policy of draconian public spending cuts are the ones that can least afford it.
They are capitalists and there are a lot wealthy people in the UK,more than 5%. It's the same everywhere, these things happen...booms and recessions. Soon there will be a boom and everyone will be spending their money again.
It's not capitalism any more. We are living in the corporate age. Watch some Micheal Moore films and think yourself lucky you're not living in China in debt bondage to Wal-mart.
For starters, I'd like them to spend far less on the military and to do something about the corporate tax dodging, particularly by oil and gas companies, due to loopholes in the law, I'd like politicians to be running for government because they have our best interests at heart rather than their own power and income. I could go on. People can't do anything to resolve the problems, because the ones with all the power, the politicians, the CEOs, the lobbyists, the media, the ones who can make a difference, are happy. They have their precious money.
Spend less money on military??That's one of the most vital areas that we have to spend on. Well that's capitalism for you.
In what way is it vital? Is it because without the military we wouldn't be able to pick and choose which revolting countries to "help out" and take all their oil while we're there?
The military's purpose is to protect the country as you know,so we need to invest in it in order to have the best equipment for our soldiers. So you just want us to leave countries like Afghanistan so they basically self destruct and turn into a country run by terrorists?
Don't agree on the armed forces being cut. It's all the greedy bankers, politicians etc. Plus most if not all are corrupt taking back handers etc. The worse culprits being the high earners in banks and the E ****ing U.
You can still be a "capitalist" country and still retain a social concience, the gap between the rich and the poor is becoming obscene and there is a real danger of the UK becoming 'ghettoised' like the USA with violent crime escalating as the 'have nots' try to become the 'haves' in any way that they can.
No, we're there now so we have to sort it out. I would like to know why we've gone and helped all these oil-rich countries, but when it comes to self-destructing countries which don't have any oil, we decide it's best to just leave them to it.
