They were much easier to read.

Would have liked to have seen the attack tanks going across. That would have been mint.

After a good night's sleep im still buzzing from yesterday's game.

The coaches set us up brilliantly, we are so organised as a team both defensively and going forward.

How me managed to assemble this squad for such a (relatively) small amount of money is staggering.

Wilson disallowed goal was an absolute rocket, such a shame he was just offside.

There's some serious skill in our squad, but its being complemented by genuine hard work and full on commitment. Its a joy to watch

Shearer is so unprofessional as pundit, not capable of doing his job properly. Love watching him squirm tho. <laugh>

Just need an illuminated, animated casey on the side of the stadium.

That's a tighter viewing angle than Wilson's offside finish :emoticon-0100-smile

Yeah had a good game, think Ballard was lucky to escape a yellow for that tackle on the edge of the box. Also their player on the half way line when we were on for a counter attack.

Would love to know what Xhaka was saying to their center half at the end as he was fuming, looked like he was offering him out :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I’d think about resting aldertere or sadiki vs Chelsea, yesterday was so important. I think you could feel thr nerves in the crowd, felt like a must win.

I had a few doubts about Ballard but what a beast, had Larsen pretty much under control and you can see other teams,s worry about him when we have set pieces. Think we need a couple more in jan if possible

Dan is a classic example of an improver. Accepting the challenge of getting in amongst these players and pushing yourself to their level.

He's a genuine PL centre half.

Don't watch it. Waste of time.

In any case, they put the highlights of each game up on their player well before the programme. No inane waffle, just the highlights. Sky you tube does similar.

No wonder the viewing figures have collapsed!

Dan has evolved so fast, not this season but since back end of last.

He was absolutely superb for NI v Germany as well. He’s not ‘playing well’ he’s absolutely ‘gone up a level’.

Easy to forget this lad was massively rated at Arsenal. He’s genuine quality and without the injuries we’d be fighting off massive clubs for him.

Transfermarkt just did a mid season value update, their numbers aren't generally great but they have updated our squad value to 340m from 290.

While you take it with a pinch of salt there is some truth in the boom of value given recent performances.

    Recruitment team, take a bow.

In no way am I trying to steal your thunder mate , or pour cold water on what has been a huge weekend , great wins on all three levels
for SAFC U19, U21 's. and our new exciting Premiership surprise packet, what more could we want ?
However it has also struck me that what you say is exactly right. The players you mention out wide are not of the standard required to maintain our current form. Up front we are weak atm in the wide areas yet strong down the middle , on goes the record, maybe its time to try starting games with a 3/5/2 option especially in some of our tougher away fixtures that lie ahead.
The first half against Man U was a low point that we should not dismiss lightly or forget. OaU.

Just watched the highlights fully that Xhaka shot was going in for sure. Roof will come off when he gets one.

Fair play to Krejci putting his swede in way of that.

I agree with the 3-5-2 just cannot see it happening. RLB has his structure and he likes it. He can tinker and deviate a tad but I believe that may be a step too far for him.

Im hoping Mundle can step up and help us out with abit of much needed flair and quality out wide. He must be due back any week now.
We also need someone out wide who can help chip in with goals and take so.e pressure off Isidor and Mayenda.

⚪️ Interviewed the tremendous Nordi Mukiele post-match who said this to me:

“I don’t score a lot of goals but when I do I have to enjoy it like a kid! The most important thing is I scored as part of a win. Trai Hume gave me a perfect ball - a good cake and I just had to finish!

The celebration and hand gesture was something I said I’d do for my girlfriend if I scored - so I did it! Was really happy to do that!

Really happy. My first goal at home. Big three points. We played really well.

Our fans really helped us today - they always do. Every game. Away or home it’s the same. We love what they give to us.”

We have achieved about 35% of the point total for safety (40) in about 20% of the fixtures we have to play this season.
