Howe seems to like that. He’s a ****ing boring bastard. But he keeps making the same mistakes over and over again.

When will he learn. Will he ever. I think he’s a stubborn twat and won’t take him out of the team because he’s too selfish.

Im getting bored of our style. This season has been garbage so far.

 

Until burn isn't either if forgetting to jump or lunging in with hope. If there's not a better option at left back I'll be amazed.

Burn is a CB it's not nice seeing it again imo... We saw it repeatedly two seasons ago.

 

The anger is rising, let it die down.

 

There was alot against us today. From our players being flogged by their countries to injuries to key staff, to a European game in a few days.

Oh, and it was against the kind of team we simply can't ever beat.

Particularly bad - Elanga, Joelinton, and by his standards, Tonali, who may be carrying an injury.

Ange or Amorim. Either will magically solve the problem of both our first choice fullbacks being injured.

It's another annoying defeat, because we nearly had another good result in a difficult fixture.. It's all very well saying that, but it's becoming a habit and we're already on 4 defeats... We lost only 5 3 years ago all. Season. Somethings not working out and the seasons getting away from us.

Burn is so bad you've got to find alternative imo. I bet a few years ago people were saying almiron was the only option at RW. Murphy has demonstrated otherwise.

 

Elanga might be the biggest waste of money in history. He’s terrible.

Or is Howe going to work this magic he has.

 

Think its going to be the cups we need to pin our hopes on this year.

League we'll be top 6 to 10 at the end. Wissa will be welcome as an option but no idea if he is going to take weeks to get up to speed etc.

We as a team never seem to have space, so of the Brighton line breaking passes, we never see that. When was the last time we saw that with Gordon or Elanga released beyond the last line of defence?

 

That's the thing here. Balance is needed. We were close to getting a draw at a **** ground for us without playing great at all, and that was quite possibly Brightons best performance all season.

 

When we finished 4th, our first 8 league games were P8 W1 D6 L1 Pts 9

How many points after 8 games this time?

 

Personally I'd be trying out Murphy (Alex) at left back. The issue we have is that certain sections of fans would boo and hiss him if he's not putting out 10/10 performances instantly

 

Why not try it, because we know Burns a CB and we can see sides targetting him. We won't though as we saw 2 years ago.

At least Benfica is only a few days away.
