He’s had an operation on his ankle and will be out for a period of time. That’s a blow, he’s been very solid. Our injuries are never straight forward ones.
We've taken 1 point from 2 games played without him. If that trend continues over the next six games or so, it will only confirm that our squad is too shallow. We cannot afford to just let our Championship status slip away.
He came off early vs Blackburn, Gillesphey scoring the first goal having replaced Edwards, so you could argue it's 4 points from 3 games.
Fair point. One point from two games where the team had to be selected without Edwards present from the start. Hopefully it is not a stat significant of anything (sample too small at present). We will know by the end of November.
or “most of us prefer to wait another 10 games before forming an opinion, but that won’t stop me posting every day anyway”
Bell didn’t play in Jamaica , NJ is rightly pissed off that he’s returned home “stiff” …smacks of amateurism by the Reggae Boys. @lardiman (good morning BTW) , shall we start an “Injuries Thread” given the time of year and what we know is to come
Reading up on it, it seems playing 10 games in a row had caught up with Bell after his previous injuries, and he arrived in Jamaica stiff (the long flight probably didn’t help).
