I asked you as you have posted over and over about reform and how great they are, how rubbish starmer and labour are.

As such a fervent supporter of reform, I assumed you had the answer to hand

On the .Gov website mate is the NHS’s 10 year plan, published in July. New funding and getting rid of a lot of beuacracy in a nutshell. Of course the nhs is not perfect but those backing reform particularly those on low income need to be very very careful what they wish for given Farage’s backers who want to smash the nhs for their own self interests

Dont hold your breath. He is a politician.

I got grief on the old Boris thread for suggesting Labour should tell us what they would do. Apparently they were in opposition and therefore didnt have to <laugh><laugh>

Turns out Starmer's plan was to smash the gangs. Genius.

None of them can stop the boats. None of them. That is reality. Until we stop fixating on it is a thing to be stopped, and turned in a thing to be changed, we will have these endless pointless debates.

Farage has got under the skin of so many, in one way or another. That says more about the current state of the Labour and Tory parties, than it does about him.

Labour have the power, have the mandate. But they are taking the country to the brink of Farage. They should be the focus of attention now, and their myriad failures.

All I see is a lot of haters filled people screaming about immigration, blaming them for everything, yet not having the answers.

NHS is broken, so put forward plans to fix it, not plans to win votes, but plans to actually fix it.

I have no faith in any politician to actually do whats needed, let alone one who wants to blame everything on immigration

your WRONG MATE can't get a NHS dentist, you have to pay yet illegal immigrants are sorted by labour decree
there were loads of foreign doctors sacked for forged documents and thousands of claims of malpractice

In the 2023/24 financial year, the NHS received 13,784 new clinical negligence claims and reported incidents, a slight increase from the 13,511 in 2022/23. The total number of claims resolved during the same period was 13,382, a slight decrease from the previous

FOREIGN DOCTORS ARE COSTING US TOO MUCH

a 2018 case in the U.K. revealed a need for more scrutiny, leading to the General Medical Council (GMC) to re-verify the credentials of up to 3,000 foreign-trained doctors who had registered under a similar, now-discredited, process.

    Im wrong?

If it wasn't for a foreign doctor my dad would have died 4 years ago, if it wasnt for a foreign consultant my daughter would have been still born. I can carry on?

If it wasnt for a free nhs I would have died 18 months ago.

Be careful what you wish for mate, because when its gone it wont be coming back

One of my elderly relatives needed the nhs at an ungodly hour for a serious issue last week and the service was excellent.

People supporting Reform need to be very careful what they wish for particularly those on low income. When it’s gone it’s gone.

Is this Labour government perfect? No but every progressive politician in this country must ensure that this hate filled cancer never gets any more power.

The easiest job in the world is to pick faults. Farage has made a career out of it. All of us can see the immigration problem, nobody needs to be told. Farage points the blindingly obvious out to us, says he has the answer but refuses to tell us what this amazing trick he has to fix it is. Why is it a secret? Is it secret like the plans to defund the NHS, or is it a secret because there is no amazing trick?

It was the same when the tories were in. Pages and pages of endless daft gifs and hatred. Some earned but very little political discourse in what passes for parliament these days. Politics in the UK is a pantomime. And a reall bad one.

I have no idea why folk want to run around shouting about how bad Farage is. It seem pathetic to me. He and his party would be irrelevany if Labour were up to the job. Or the Tories had been up to theirs. Even the Lib Dems and Greens are culpable. We have allowed politics to become the domain of cheap digs and bitchy arguments. It should be the debating room that finds answers and makes a difference. We, as the voting public need to accept our role in it. Far too many vote Labour or Tory because they always have and think of it like supporting a football team. Instead of holding them to account and demanding more. Everything is about not being able to do good because they have to fix the mess of the last lot. That is the most pathetic, lazy, despicable thing a political party can do. Defeated before they start.

Our political system is broken. Completely. It needs a complete overhaul. And I dont mean Farage. Here is a radical idea. Pay politicians £1m p.a. to be a front bencher, with performance related pay on top. Maybe then we get people who could at least organise a piss up in a brewery. We need heavy hitting intelligent folk running the show.

Yet before the election i remember how you were happy with labour, and yet over a year and a half later there has not been a squeak out of you regarding their corruption and lies, I post about Labour corruption and lies ,I do it as there is no voice on here against the hard left, and where did you read I'm a fervent supporter of reform, i bet you can't show it as its untrue . Until a few days ago, i supported another party.you must have just assumed you were wrong

i have no clue to your question smug but what i do know is that whoever the feck gets in the next time HAS to start and organise this country again.

i have heard that gaza and ukraine are going to get billions off the UK, now while these people need help i honestly think our own people need to be put first, basically, get your own house in order first.

the NHS was the envy of the world...get it back to that and i do not give a flying feck if those that work in it are white, black, brown or sky feckin blue with pink dots as long as they know the job, this little country managed perfectly well before the greed took over, now far too many want to own far too much so they can charge a premium for it, it was never the workers or the unions that screwed it all up it was the politicians and they keep doing it over and over and over while people turn out to vote for them.

I asked as you have been quiet vocal against labour and quite pro refrom.

Guess this shows the truth that you shouldn't discuss politics with mates as it ends in arguments

It's hard to answer because there are no easy answers. The key is reducing the 'pull' factor that makes the UK such an attractive destination. Labour's tactics so far are ID cards, and the 1 in 1 out scheme. For me both are welcome but the latter needs to be ramped up quickly. I'll give Labour another year or two before deciding if they are up to the job. The last lot had 14 years.

We certainly need someone who will deal with issues rather than pander to polls.

I just hope that person shows up
