    Okay, here we go people...

Does Pineapple belong on Pizza? Personally I'd say No, but it depends on ho drunk I am..... Also open to hearing which toppings don't belong on a Pizza, as well as some that do... that may be unconventional

I've opened a poll on this subject, it will be open for 7 days. Get those votes in ....

    I went with yes.

I love the classics, a proper Neapolitan for example, but pizza is essentially a flat bread with toppings, you can't gate keep what goes on bread but you can respect the origins and classic way to prepare the dish etc.

My sons were horrified when they came to the south of France and I gave them Leffe with strawberry juice ...

    ... they became addicted.

We went to Corsica and the locals gave us fig jam, with glasses of chestnut liqueur, for our goats cheese.

So I'm voting 'yes' for pineapple with ham, takes me back to the sixties <laugh>

Pineapple on pizza is f*ucking delicious.End of convo for me. I'd normally get a spicy pizza but every now and then it's exactly what I want. Love sweet and salty. Chocolate pretzels are great too!

    Salt, fat, acid, heat.

A greasy meat like pepperoni and the acidic pineapple to cut through the fat, add in some spice, you have a winner.

A work colleague of mine liked Tuna & Curry pizzas.

I think this has grounds for immediate work dismissal.

    Not for me.

Bolognese, pepperoni, jalapeños and chicken are my go to combo.

I like pizza, and i like pineapple, but not together.
Im not keen on fruit in savoury dishes, I dont like pineapple in sweet & sour sauce for example.
But....I do like apple sauce with roast pork.

Cut a long story short....I voted "no".

Pepperoni with pineapple - my go to combo - absolutely delish - sweet & savoury mmmmm.
Those who vote no should perhaps say whether they dislike pineapple per. se.
