    I was a bit lukewarm on the Gerrard return myself, but if you are giving me a straight choice between Gerrard or Danny Rohl, then Gerrard is a no brainer.

    None of the names mentioned are particularly exciting or give confidence that they can turn this around, most of them would be coming from a background in the lower English leagues and have no idea what they are letting themselves in for up here.

    Gerrard - It was a quick win for the rangers board , - - who knows if he would have actually done well . But he’d be given time n backing by rangers fans imo .

    However , the next appointment, from the names listed (apart from McKenna) are bang average managers and they won’t get time .

    The rangers manager wheel will be getting updated to show a quicker manager cycle .

    Gerrard was the only person that would have the majority of fans on side, whoever comes in now is already on the back foot with the fans because they won’t be wanted.

    Its just another Martin situation, where a lot of fans are just waiting for the first slip up and its all downhill from there
