The Basildon Labour Party faced backlash for its demand that a headteacher resign after accusing her primary school of "supporting Reform UK". The party has since backtracked on its call, but the incident has caused outrage. Some reports describe the party's actions as an attempt to bully the headteacher into resignation over her political affiliation.
    • The local Labour Party in Basildon called for the headteacher of a primary school to be sacked.
    • The reason for the demand was the school's alleged support for the Reform UK party.
    • Following a public outcry, the Basildon Labour Party has since reversed its demand for the headteacher to be sacked.
    • The incident has drawn accusations of political bullying against the headteacher by some critics, notes .

i don’t know anything about this guy but I smelt a rat when I read this post. So I did a bit of googling.

The meme it is a deliberate attempt to mislead.

you can find his true statement on X (link below). What he actually said was

‘Today, UNRWA alone has the equivalent of 6,000 trucks of food & medical assistance stuck in Egypt & Jordan.’

the post makes pretty clear the famine is real, but has resulted from the policies of one country in particular.

His real words were aimed at saying almost exactly the opposite of this meme
