Sorry, forgot the score time but it is always 14 Unless I predict 0-0 then it will be 0 mins. That would be a point, no?
Firstly, the fact you've predicted Argyle to feature in a 0-0 does not stop you submitting a goal time. It's not logic as we know it Jim, but Sensible will explain. It all goes back to the old BBC 606 days. The Goal Time only relates to Argyle games so there isn’t one this time as we aren’t playing. We’vgot nearly as many non-Argyle members as True Faithful now (I'm not a Janner but I am a Lifelong Green and a Trelawney Boy). The rules developed while we were all Green Army. please log in to view this image I hope that's clear.
That leads me obliquely into the FA Cup. As and when I can, I’d like to include the teams all of us support. That will only apply to some in the First Round. SMHBC I believe is a Bristol City supporter (BC is an hint) and Musty Swansea City (please God let me not have mistaken that for Cardiff). Ron?
The games at Exeter and Stockport dominated the scoring in this round with no one getting anything from wins by Rotherham and Wycombe and Bolton getting a 3-0 thrashing at Burton. The two big scoring games (for some) were Exeter's win over Reading and Stockport's rather more predictable home win over Blackpool. The Argyle fans amongst us are warned that repeatedly predicting unexpectedly good results for Exeter City may result in disciplinary action.
The next round kicks-off with Huddersfield Town v Bolton Wanderers at 8pm on Thursday 16th. Here is the Match Text. Huddersfield Town - Bolton Wanderers Burton Albion - Peterborough United Lincoln City - Stevenage Blackpool - Wycombe Wanderers Bradford City - Barnsley Cardiff City - Reading Doncaster Rovers - Northampton Town Luton Town - Mansfield Town Plymouth Argyle - AFC Wimbledon Rotherham United - Leyton Orient Stockport County - Exeter City Wigan Athletic - Port Vale Two Jokers please and Goal Totals will be on.
notdistant. If you are going to persist in threatening everybody like an overblown Trump then you do need to get the thing right. EXETER DREW with Reading and DID NOT win. I do however conceed that a draw for them IS a good result and if at all possible should be avoided so have noted the repremand.
A bobble hat might lower the tone of Lyndys position in the club......so we'll let him off.....unless it's very cold around the ears on Saturday.
