I've started one with Accrigton Stanley(spelling?) Quit after 5 games as I got bored

 

What difficulty do you guys play on?

I play on world class, legendary just takes the pi$$!

 

Yeah I also tried one with Accrington. League two teams are a struggle to start off with, especially on the harder settings. Found it a bit easier with Lincoln, them being my home town. An ex school mate actually plays for them. But he's **** and a twat so yeah.

Changes between Professional and World Class, depending on my mood at the time. Mainly world class. Professional if I'm hungover/****ed

I do regular 'fifa predictions' with Newcastle where I play on legendary against the team we're up against that week with the correct teams, or the closest possible. Got quite a few right, including 1-1 Chelsea and 1-0 Arsenal which led me to putting bets on and winning a tidy 70 quid!

Anyone here do the Ultimate Team? I paid for it and did it on Fifa 10, not done so much this year.

I never pay for anything mate. Even the Fifa game isn't mine. What is the dream team? I only ever play online.

 

It was only like 4 quid. Ultimate Team you create your own squad and you can buy packs of bronze silver or gold players for points gained from playing against other clubs/in tournaments/against other players to build your own squad. you can trade for other player cards with other people or sell for points too.
I assembled a squad with Lamps and Gabby in, amongst others, so didn't do too badly. A lot of people spend hundreds of pounds of real life money on these packs just to get loads of in game points and good players. Did all mine by only paying for the initial game option. It's free download this year round though.

I bought by fifa 11 ha. Bought it on release day, because I'm sad that like.
Told myself it'd be the last fifa game I buy for a few years, just so I could have Newcastle back in the prem
But definitely getting 12 now, considering we'll be a much much better team with hopefully some more decent players!

I was always a Pro Evo man until 08' when everything changed. This ultimate team sounds interesting, i'll cheick it out.

 

I had both in 2008. Preferred Fifa if I'm honest. Lack of real teams/players in Pro Evo always put me off.

BETTER WAY TO GET BEN ARFA PERMANENT

In menu, drop him to free agents, start new career mode, making sure you select customized squads then get him on a free. Then just whack him back to newcastle in the main menu. Rinse and repeat everytime you want to start another newcastle career mode. (or indeed any club)
Sets you back 14k wages too, not sure what they're like anyway?
Best and quickest way to do so at the minute, can't be bothered to wait for EA to sort themselves out the useless prats

The first transfer window is always the funnest.
Any tips on young decent players to go for? I normally go for Lukaku, and then Fabio on a loan. Attempting to sign Gervinho now too. Loaned out Ranger, brought back Forster from loan and considering selling Krul.

 

I had to pay 17mil to get Gervinho. Quite good down the wing though.

 

Go for Fabio (who is always on a free and can play right back and left)
And if you need a left back go for Gibbs who's always on a free for me too great bargain
