Off Topic The cooking thread….

Dont get all the fuss with air fryers.
I've got enough gadgets cluttering up the kitchen without another. Often struggle with 2 ovens to fit all the food in for the whole family, I'd never get it in an air fryer

 

I have got an air fryer and wouldn’t be without it. Also have an airfryer and combined pressure cooker.

 

Our two best gadgets are our slow cooker and air-fryer - now there's only the two of us rattling around they both get plenty of use; obvs different when we had, or still occasionally have, a houseful.

 

I'm opening a new restaurant in 4 weeks but no air freezer

 

Does that make ice cream?

 

Curried chicken Kiev

 

Korean style sticky beef marinating for 3 hours until I cook it after the rovers game

 

Veg prepped for veggie bolognese. Into the slow cooker for 6 hours

 

Chicken & garlic hassleback potato’s

 

A childhood fave for me…Cumberland sausage…first time for the kids…my younger grumpy teenager reaction OMG dad are you feeding us animal bowels or intestines?? No…it’s just sausage

 

Looks good, mate.


But wouldn't presentation and taste ambience be improved by having the beans in a separate ramekin?

Perfect eggs, I was in Brigg this week and had a breakfast in a cafe there, I asked for runny eggs, they were as runny as teak.

 

I hate beans touching things. I always build a chip dam to stop them touching anything else.

 

I made chorizo, chilli and garlic pasta for tea.

It was very good, I wish I knew how to make stuff look photogenic though

 

Today I made garlic bread scotch eggs. Should have allowed longer to cool though! Just couldn’t wait
