I'll try an analogy for Archers.

Imagine your grandparents had an allotment in North London & they spent their time keeping it maintained enjoying the fruits of their labour.
It was handed down to your parents & eventually you are in charge.

Then one day the government decides that rabbits from the 3rd world are hungry so they decide without consultation to house a few families of Somalian & Syrian rabbits on your allotment.

You turn up ready to harvest your carrots & courgettes one day only to find the entire place has been destroyed.

Not only your little plot but the entire allotment has now becoming a rabbit farm .

And those rabbits keep breeding and breeding so the government decides that they need even more help , so they extort money from you & all the other allotment holders in order to buy millions of pounds worth of carrots for the new rabbits as they multiply spreading further & further .

Now you don't have an allotment & you are paying for the new inhabitants.

If you complain you are branded evil & hateful & threatened with prison if you post about it on Facebook.

The government responds by importing more & more rabbits until there are no allotments left , so they need to seize land & the means of production from the farmers to cope with the demand of the new guests .

Would you just accept it as inevitable ?
