So rude, disprespectful and ignorant you would agree with? 175k a year and the disgusting individual cannot have the decency to answer a question.
I've heard him many times on LBC answering all sorts of listeners' hostile questions directly and in detail. You are entitled to your opinion of him based on this clip.
Clearly you are a fan of him whilst I am not so we'll leave it there. I'll accept your apology to me by buying the first round in March
If England is such an inhospitable, intolerant nation, why do people come here in such large numbers? People generally don't fly the flag to intimidate migrants: they fly it as a statement to the government, to say, 'We are still here. We are still proud of our nation.' It seems we are the only nation that has a problem with flags. I don't understand it.
Me neither - if you can’t fly your national flag in your own country where the hell can you ??? I don’t see it as racist I see it that the British people are fed up !
Edit: sorry about the lengthy rant. Removed it myself. It served no purpose other than letting off some steam. The British People are fed up. I think we all agree on that.
Thanks - apologies for deciding to delete it myself after ten minutes. On balance I felt it wouldn't really help. The gist was that the romantic vision of England in a 'Golden age' - which some politicians are promising to return us to - was never more than an illusion. Granted times are hard now. We all feel it. But none of our Party leaders can restore to us a Country that never really existed. Particularly not Nigel Farage, who promised us a prosperous, dynamic and successful post-Brexit Britain
The end of the conflict in Gaza? I ridiculed the latest peace deal proposed by Donald Trump about a week ago. Given Trump's record so far, that is understandable. Yet a lot of proper work has been put into this possible deal by five Countries in the region. That - and the apparent progress (plus almost unbelievable praise for Trump from Hamas) - gives cause for cautious optimism. The flat refusal of Hamas to disarm, and the probability that the extremists in the Government of Israel will reject other parts of the deal, are sadly real obstacles which may yet see everything crash down. IF this deal sticks, as far as I'm concerned Trump can have his Nobel Peace Prize. Peace between Israelis and Palestinians is more than a worthy exchange for the Orange One getting his fingers on his latest shiny toy. The killing and destruction has to be ended.
The 80s were better than this. The 90s were better than this. Even the 00s were better than this. No doubt the older folk will say the 50s, 60s and 70s were better than this. Fact is, we are living through an excruciating ****show created by successive limp-wristed governments and an insane far-left ideology. Britain WAS Great.
I recently had a short holiday in Suffolk, and have in recent years had breaks in Somerset, Cornwall, various Hebridean islands, Yorkshire, Dorset, the Peak District, and more. Mainly walking holidays. This is still a great country. So are others, eg Malaysia, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Madeira (ok it's not a country), others which I haven’t experienced but family have, Mainly in the far East. It all depends what you are looking for.
