And apparently you have done this exhaustive research so AGAIN i ask: where are the sources? If you can't supply them I will assume they don't exist anywhere other than in your mind: in a dark room, with your right hand & a spare sock..,.
I agree Allegedly suggested And again it could all depend on context - Evra could have been doing it in an Ali G style effort to defuse the tension. Unlikely I know, but who knows... This is a perennial problem with racism, particularly given that the law says that racism is very much in the eyes of the recipient. But then again it does mean that Liverpool can refer to Suarez' character, and they also have referred to Evra's character and previous misinterpretation against the Chelsea groundsman. To be honest, I'd say the character thing is going to work in Suarez' favour, cos its not up to Suarez to prove there was no racist intent, it's up to the FA to prove that there was. And I don't think there is any way to prove that based on the various arguments that have been put forward.
why do morons like mo have to come on here and spoil a decent thread with ill educated and juvenile nonsense
On topic.....surely the FA can just bang their heads together and tell them to sort it out between them.
I don't know whether I want this over with tomorrow or not; does some of the perennial crap thrown up on this forum Mo a perfect example) not show that no matter what decision is made tomorrow it'll be thrown into the mix at every opportunity... Don't want fascist like secrecy here but I do think the FA should decree that no accusations of any participator in this sport should go public until the hearing is held. Would help all our ulcers! Anyone who breaks it; including journalists should be banned from the game for a period. Stop this hysterical hype.
I'd suggest rent them a room together at the Hilton, double bed, some fines wines, a bit of Barry White on the radio.....
fergie would love that rule - he would break it regularly while claiming he is not breaking it while accusing everyone else of breaking it
Obviously it's a fantasy that involves a strong FA but it would also protect people like Evra (assumption of truth) who feel they are being racially abused: not to be vilified for taking a stand. It would protect the accused if it is a false accusation. Would not put pressure on the managers, clubs & us fans to choose between our loyalty & morals Which in turn would take pressure off FA making a political rather than evidential decision. Oh & it would really p*ss off the tabloid hacks & so called professional bloggers who like to stir us up for their own careers. Got to a good thing!
