Labour are officially the worst government in English history with the most hated PM ever, but vote for them again because Fartrage is a Nazi.

Something tells me that's not quite going to cut it this time

The fact they clearly seem to think name calling works, shows firstly they've learned nothing from history either on its success for election campaigns and referendums or for the consequences for rape victims, and secondly, it implies name calling is what really stings them, so they think it works in the opposite direction, without appreciating that nobody thinks enough of them to give a **** on their opinions on such things.

A more successful tactic would be to have a credible argument, which is why they're stuck with name calling.

They really are weak, shallow people.

Most of the more vocal Labour fan boys on here are too ashamed to admit they voted for this shower of ****.

They confirm the general point with almost every post, and have done for years.

They generally shy away from saying who they would vote for now, because they know they'd have to defend that with reasons, and that hasn't exactly gone well for them having shouted in favour of Labour for years.

Most of us are open that Reform will not be the ultimate answer.

Come to Sussex dear boy, Lewes would be good for you. Their bonfire nights are legendary and it's a quaint little town to boot.

Lewes is in my heart. Anne of Cleves' house, the Priory, Harvey's, the Dripping Pan and the views. A wonderful place right up there with Rye and Battle.

Starmer, who became PM in July 2024 after Labour's landslide victory, has seen his popularity plummet due to economic stagnation, tax hikes, migration policies, and the rise of Reform UK under Nigel Farage. Recent polls show:
    • Ipsos (September 2025): 13% satisfied, 79% dissatisfied (net -66), the lowest satisfaction rating for any PM since records began in the 1970s.

    I stand corrected:

"A new YouGov survey, conducted between 14-16 October, reveals that just 10% of Britons have a favourable impression of Truss, down from 15% in a previous survey on 11-12 October.

Four out of five British adults (80%) now view Truss unfavourably with 62% who see her very unfavourably. The prime minister’s net favourability score now stands at -70, a 14 point drop since last week."

Rye is just amazingly pretty. Have you been inside Henry James' house? Fred Benson lived in it after him too.

Radclyffe Hall was a near neighbour.
