    Certainly agree with you (as there is never an excuse for missing the target with a penalty). But, in reality, it’s less than 2 foot above where that lanky German put his for the mags (paused it as it went over the bar. Waltermadeks was a cracking pen btw). If that’s a long range effort it’s very close. Small margins!

    On another day he puts it top corner and nothing is said except excellent penalty.

    The number of times Forest gained the ball and could’ve possibly made a break , but stopped by being pushed over - concede the free kick to give time to organise defence/- has to be a deliberate tactic

    They set out to draw fouls in the opposition half, hence Gordon and Elanga, but foul to prevent play reaching their half ...

    ... which is where their midfield 'steps in', literally.
