Our problem is our bench, we don’t have anyone to bring on that’ll affect the game.

Certainly not Armstrong...you know, as soon as he comes on we have nothing up front

What I’m struggling with if us mere non professionals can see Armstrong is not the answer (other than worse player you’ve seen) why can’t Struber see it and likewise Manning before him.

These days it’s a squad game, we have decent enough players, but not enough of them, injuries don’t help, but you have to have a big enough squad to allow for injuries. Look at our bench today, on the whole it’s just not strong enough.

I've been thinking about a change of system, like others now, where as the old days we played forward much quicker eg hitting channels for willing runners.
It's hopeless, we don't have the quality. We have a decent CF for our level but that's it up top.

    Top 6, they're joking.
It's mid table....at best as usual.
JL, Tinnio and co have shafted Struber.............And us.

They have been doing it for decades and unless someone wakes up to what we must do to compete I might as well stay in bed - it's way less stressful.

Well first time of moaning this season - 2 from 12 is not acceptable. What I watched today was a city side that has no cutting edge-no urgency -plenty of backwards and sideways football.
Two poor sides playing as if it was a training session.
Struber has no options up front when Riss is taken off.
We become a lame duck. As for the issues you have to blame the person that brought Maylu and Armstrong in neither are good enough at championship level.
Who ever messed up on deadline day not bringing a striker in because the guy they wanted failed a medical.Where is the organisation there.
Struber has his hands tied behind his back when subs are required.
What is wrong in giving Cornick a go at least he can score and give us a bit of edge.
Norwich up next and Manning will want to get one over on city-then looking at the fixtures in November ouch.
Steve L still owns the club he should be asking questions of his people because as said in the past this issue of no strikers to help Riss is going to cost city again this season.

It’s also about consistency and we don’t have it at the moment

And it’s also about man management and getting the best out of what we have in quite a lean squad

Like others I feel Struber has been conned by the senior management but I also think he’s doing a decent job with what he has.

With WBA getting a proper beating, Middlesbrough losing and other odd results yesterday, it looks like Coventry and Leicester have the right formula at the moment

Rather than bring on Armstrong, I'd switch our wide players around and throw Mehmeti up top...couldn't be any worse than what we have. And he would have a go..that's how bad we are up there!

Sorry, Wells was not the answer, we saw that last season. Letting him go was the right decision, it probably allowed us to bring in Riis.

I'd be up for playing Mehmeti up top alongside Riis, he has the attributes.
My possible concern is whether he has the grey matter needed.
But we don't have a choice (thanks Tinnion) and as you say he'd at least have a go.
