9/2 is probably reasonable value. It’s the sort of game they normally just about win but it’s a great time to play them and, more importantly, they’re ****.
Just watching the Bournemouth highlights. Said at the start of the season they were my dark horses and they are proving to be a very good outfit That Kluivert goal And Semenyo's first Worldies.
We’re taking a big turnout to Bristol City and my rude bastard friends are gettting married so I’m schlepping five hours in the wrong direction. There should be no weddings from August - May and everyone needs to understand this. Now at Beaconsfield Services which is an elite service station but reminds you what most of the public look and act like. Filth.
I always think of Bournemouth as the club closest to my lot in size of support at Premier League level. Another club I look at for what if's is Brighton, because they use to ground share with us. It does make you wonder when you see a club like Bournemouth second in the Prem with only a capacity of just over 11k. My logic when I see their position though at this early stage is it means they are currently 10 points from relegation. In total 14 points and you only needed 26 points last season to avoid relegation, and 27 points the season before that.
I think it’ll be a lot different this season, mate. The last couple of seasons the promoted teams have never got to grips with the league but Sunderland and Leeds are looking strong this time around. I’m already thinking we’ll need 37/38 points to stay up this time around.
Yeah it's amazing what they are doing, especially with such a small capacity ground. They were good last season, but fell away a bit. But I had them in mind this season as I think they'll push for a European place this season.
Me too ... car went into garage for further gear box work yesterday- thankfully under warranty - they'll have it until Friday next - courtesy car is a poxy little Kia - be alright for short runs ... otherwise I might have encouraged the missus to see her mum this weekend
Stopped for a piss and there’s a load of Bristol Rovers fans on the way to Walsall. Absolute reprobates. Also odd as I can only be about 20 minutes from Walsall.
Good start by Leeds, they are winning all the duels. Odobert and Tel look really poor. Simons could be the difference for Spurs. He looks good.
Fiver, gets me £600 if it comes off. Wouldn't normally bet on the mackems, but any team playing Man U is pretty much a banker. Sheff Utd is the weird one, just think they'll win this.
I rarely bet on either of us because it brings bad luck for me usually. Man U isn’t a banker at OT? They’ve been the best side in every home game. They’ve won the last two and only got beat 1-0 off Arsenal and they should have won that as well.
Only beat Burnley 7 minutes into injury team and needed a Chelsea red card after 5 mins and then still nearly fluffed it. Old Trafford really ain't a fortress anymore, and basing it on the last games, where Sunderland looked gritty and Man U were all over the place. In both games against us they were dog **** last season, OT really ain't a factor really these days. And Leeds scored, bah.
