Ok so i have noticed that there is alot of talk about teams wanting strikers and alot of different strikers are being linked with moves.

    For example:

    David Villa (before leg break)
    Torres
    Ibrahimovic
    Tevez
    Anelka (before transfer confirmed)
    Drogba
    Neymar
    Benzema
    Podolski

Have all be linked with moves away from there clubs.

Also lesser strikers like Chamakh and Zamora have been linked with moves as well as Adebarndoor as to whether his deal will be permanent come the end of the season etc... (And of course fears over RVP but i recon he is staying put and there aren't any actual rumours linking him to other clubs).

And teams looking to add to there strike forces look to be:

Arsenal, Tottenham, Utd, Chelsea, Barca, Milan at the least.

Could we see some big money transfers going on between the top clubs? And could we be seeing several top quality strikers changing teams either in January or the Summer?

If so, would you go in for any of strikers looking to move? Particular the big names? And do you think AW and Arsenal will be interested in any of the players if they look to make a move to the EPL?

Well Arsenal are linked with Podolski and Benzema.

    Neymar is linked with Chelsea.

Tevez will go were the money is.

Neymar and Benzema added to the list now :)

    Hadn't thought of them.

Would you be interested in making moves for any of the strikers on the list?

Would you be annoyed if other teams get the players on the list?

Well if AC manage to come up with a deal for Tevez, then Ibra could find himself struggling to get as much game time and the EPL title medal would go nicely with his Serie A, La Liga and Eredivise Title medals...

I can't see much happening in jan tbh. Clubs are generally reluctant to do business and prices are over inflated. The wages of some of these players are ridiculous as well. Maybe chelsea and Liverpool will grab another bargain <laugh>

Chelsea will definitely be going shopping again, they've agreed to let Anelka go and Drogba and Kalou will be at ACN, they could be very short of strikers come Jan.
I wouldn't put a £60m bid for RVP past them....

If they did bid for him I think the figure would be half that considering his age/injury record. In (my opinion only) the unlikely event he left I doubt he'd go to another English club.

Add Moussa Sow to that list. He is a future Arsenal player if I ever saw one.

    Came on for Dzeko.

Is Di Natale cup tied? Could be a very good short term signing, until we get Joel Campbell.

Obviously you are not following Milan. He would get the same amount of time - tevez would take the cassano role or robinho. They would not play tevez on top and put zlatan on the bench or the side. Makes no sense.

The one thing they COULD do is to give zlatan the old Pirlo role - cuz this guy has a lot of assists and really good at it.

Yeah I think both Podolsi and Benzema would suit Arsenal.
Podoslski is useful because he's versatile and robust. Benzema would give us a more direct threat up front. I think a Benzema and RVP partnership would be amazing.

Neymanr would obviously be an amazing signing but he's going to cost a small fortune.

I actualy quite like Zlatan as a player - think he sometimes goes through rough patches of form but is otherwise a very good player - i'd be more than happy for him to be our RVP back-up.

Would not like to see him go to spurs tbh.

But i don't think he'd be tempted to go to spurs after having played at Ajax, Barca and Milan - if he came to England i think it'd be for one of the big 4 - Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal or City.

As for Tevez - he really is an amazing player - and if he went to Milan there would have to be some changes over there - he is a very expensive player - and so it'd have to mean another striker moving on.

Higuain i'd love to see at Arsenal - we got linked with him a few years back and i was desperate for us to sign him - i think he is a quality player and would be brilliant to have as a striking option. He's up amongst my favourite options to be signed.

Podolski i'd be happy with as an addition to the squad. Able to play centraly or on the left.

Benzerma would be a great option as well - he'd fit in well with the team and i like him as a player. Whether we could get him is anotehr story of course :)

Couple of genuine questions as I know fook all about him.

1 - Is he any good? Seen his goal scoring record which is impressive, but loses brownie points for being in the (chortle) French league.

2 - Will we lose him to the ACON every season?

    3 - C'est combien?

4 - Would he be happy to play second fiddle to RVP?

5 - Would he fit into our system as not everyone would?

6 - What makes you so darn sure we'll get him?

you know what. right now, after the start to the season and how bad the team were, and how well they've settled and pushed up the league, the only thing i'm really afraid of is that the team will burn out because the first team is very much the first team, and the same every game.

anyone who is sufficient quality to give one of the "first team" players a rest gets my vote.

We supposedly had bids of £20-25 million rejected over the summer so i don't think its a question of whether Arsenal are willing to spend the money but rather whether we find the right player at a price that isn't ridiculous (50mil torres, 35mil carroll for example).

What about spurs - you guys are looking out for a striker afaik - who do you think you will get? Can you see any of the players mentioned arriving at spurs?
