Hopefully an omen that the ref will be on our side.

I’m not normally in favour of dropping a player because of one defeat, but the way squashy let that player past was pretty dire. I’d prefer a back 4.

    McCarty
    MAD Edwards wood manning
    Jander Charles
    Fellows Azaz Armstrong
    Stewart

Hard leaving Fraser out but fellows and Armstrong are a must and I want a fullback at RB. Hopefully fellows won’t get so knackered.

I think I’d try Jelert ahead of Mads but otherwise quite like that.

Fatigue / injuries aside I'd go with the same team just because it seems to be working and time will improve it.

What ever happens right now I'd rather not see JS or THB in the starting line up as a replacement for either of Wood or Edwards

Be nice if we could win this and well. Would enjoy there being no doubt about the result with 20 to go.

I think we'll see a couple of changes for this one with lots of games having been played. Definitely wouldn't start Stewart which is a shame but we need to make sure we're protecting him.

Yep, that's the aim for me too. Got to create an upward trend of momentum

Boro: play well but come up short
Sheff Utd: play well enough to scrap out the win on the road
    Derby: win and win well

Then we get the break with the mood in the camp in a much better place and come back out of the break with a nice looking run of games
    (on paper, at least)

When did we last win 2 league games in a row? I’m guessing during the unbeaten run 2 seasons ago, but can’t remember exactly.

Would've been when we beat Watford and Preston within four days during the run-in

I’d go same team to start (apart from Stephens in for Quarshie), but with a few subs at half time. Particularly Stewart.

I think for Stewart's sake rest him and have him as an option off the bench. I just think starting 3 games in a week after playing so little for such a long period is a bad idea. Besides I think Archer could be effective getting on the end of through balls from Azaz. We've had two pretty tough games - I wouldn't object to a few changes to freshen things up. I would quite like to see Scienza for example.

I'd guess that depends on if Stephens is fit or not; missed out injured the other night.

Their forwards are Carlton Morris and Patrick Agyemang, neither are fast. Morris is on four goals from eight games though and from just looking at match ratings in a few places, is turning in 7.0+ ratings most games
