And we got a better keep on the perm! Good move by Grayson, although I am first to admit if you offered me Stockdale or Lonners at the start of the season I would have gone for Stockdale. Shows my ignorance really!

Nothing to do with that Ken. He wanted to come to us apparently but we wouldn't accept the recall clause. Ipswich did and it's come back to haunt them.
imagine if we end up with Andrews (who has been excellent) then we would really be laughing! Bowyers been injured & Stockdale recalled, we could be the lucky ones for once !

I know what you're saying, it was just hard to take, that they were targets of ours and they all went to Ipswich Bowyer was fantastic for us, especially during his court case, but he had a big falling out with Ridsdale and O'Leary, when they fined him (after the case). Obviously, he felt hard done by, then wouldn't sign a new contract. Other players like kewell have screwed us over a lot lot more
To be fair to Stockdale Ipswich fans say he's their best player! Shows how crap their team is. I said at the start of the season that they're squad wasn't good enough for promotion. They've got a team with loads of CM's past 30, only 2 **** wingers who they never play on the wing (one plays at rightback...) and they signed Jay Emmanuel Thomas who can't control his feet and a gambling addict. No chance.
