Yeah he has but he's missed every chance that has come his way. I expect him to score with a header from 3 yards out TBH.
I don’t think it’s as bad as many seem to - we’re struggling as ever against the low block. Part of the reason we’re dithering about in midfield etc is that the movement up top is very static. Stewart has shown something, but I’d like to see Scienza and Archer buzzing about to give Azaz and the CMs some options.
That was a pretty even first half with Saints having the the slight attacking edge. I like the look of Stewart and I think he'll score a load when he gets going. Shame about Quarshie getting done in the box but he is still raw and will make those errors but both Jack and THB have those errors in them too.
I know I am accused of being positive a lot, but I really don't think we are that bad. The front two actually look dangerous, Fellows is beginning to show us why we bought him and Azaz looks better.
He is pretty poor against dribbling players. Probably because he is so tall. Needs to work on that. Otherwise he has been ok. But that is definitely a big issue.
I do think that one of the biggest problems is that we play in almost slow motion. Very little inventiveness when going forward. It's all very predictable.
Can’t help injuries, part of the game! How were they supposed to know he’d not recover as well as some players do. Admittedly, was a risk they maybe shouldn’t have taken, but they did and on today’s showing for a player out so long he’s working his socks off and should be fairly judged on his first half performance which was 2nd best player on the pitch behind Fellows imo
