I wonder if the "Royal Family" will be required to have digital ID like us peasants. I would think it would be helpful with the Duke Of Golf and Fergie particularly
I read a few pages in the recent book about them. Odious doesn’t cover it. Andy could do no wrong in the Queens eyes (the dead one not the new adulterous one) but of course we can’t criticise her.
Paying for silence on Andy was definitely a grim decision. I’m going to be kind and blame ‘advisors’ who just got a pay increase.

All the might of Tufton Street storing their toxic ****e no doubt and the sheep follow. I’m sure whatever it is it won’t touch the sides what the royal family have ripped out of the country in recent years but we will conveniently ignore that.
Digital id fiasco. Euan, son of Tony, Blair possibly owning the company that will run it. Doesn't mention Starmer at all. Not once.
No,not surprised. Euan seems to have done very well being brought up in a Labour Govt.environment. Only to be expected....he didn't grow up in a Tory household.....who are all corrupt and immoral apparently.
Yeh saw that but thought he looked a bit uncomfortable answering and his body language wasn't the best, just a gut feeling but think there's more to it I could be wrong though.
I'd have told her to wind her neck in. Horrible interviewer trying to gode Starmer to bite. Thought he did well really.
Even for someone as cynical as I am, the current state of the Labour Party so soon after the biggest Election victory in living memory, has come as something of a shock. The reasons are, no doubt many and varied but the one that irritates me most is the state of The Finances. Our current Chancellor was warned long and loudly, what her policies would do to The Economy, but she went ahead anyhow. Taking money out of the economy to give to Government to play with was never going to make anything better. It has though reduced the funds that could otherwise have gone into investment and jobs. We were told that The Government, on taking power inherited a £20 billion black hole. Now it is reported to have grown to double that. It seems then that ignoring all the advice from CBI, her own Treasury experts and a majority of Economists (a profession that can rarely agree on anything!), may not have been the ideal first big decision. The question of who is going to have to pay to put this right will be answered soon. I await with bated breath.
Worth saying this again. The country borrowed nearly £450bn, to let people sit at home for a year. Another £60bn plus on energy support when Putin's war b No party demurred. Starmer wanted more. He asked in the HOC for more lockdowns, longer lockdowns and stricter lockdowns. And for more energy support. That is the current fiscal drag anchor on the economy. For reference, the UK borrowed around £150bn last financial years. £100bn of that was simply interest on previous borrowing. You cannot tax or spend your way out of that. It just cannot be done.
