****ing hell. travel 6 hours in a plane to watch a sport completely unrelated to football and wear clobber no-one other than other sad bastards would recognise. pitiful, truly pitiful.
Oh dear indeed. Costs of building a new ground, or other physical infrastructure are not counted against the PSR calculation. But if the money is borrowed for the purpose, then I think the interest is. This is what got Everton into a lot of their bother.
They could just relocate to London, or even Riyadh. It's what they really want anyway, so here's an excuse.
What would be really really funny ……. What would send them into meltdown like butter landing on the sun ……., ……. give them 3 years playing in someone else’s low capacity stadium, or less than 20k in st James …. whilst in just the first year we knock up our extension to 63000
Neither of them look to be confined or housebound, imagine if this is the very best thing to do with what's left of your life. 'Grandad, are you coming out to play football with me' ... ... 'Grandad's busy son'. please log in to view this image
You may be right mate. 'The Cathedral' isn't only worthless, it would cost money to knock the stadium down and return the land to the City ... ... the training facilities need completely renewing so building them, and a new stadium, at Milton Keynes would be easy. Much cheaper than persevering with Newcastle John Hall tried to bully the Council into buying the stadium 'for the good of the city' ... tosser.
I've done some daft things over the years at matches ... ... but this lot make me feel quite dull tbh. They've completely lost track of what support, passion and humour is which wasn't always the case. All kinds of people from the NE used to be classed at friendly and always up for a laugh. Now there's a massive difference between two groups of people who are only a few miles from each other. I find it a bit sad tbh, they're destroying the banter and teaching their kids to hate other Geordies or people from other parts of the NE. Perhaps we need another World War to remind people how little different we all really are.
It really is heart breakingly sad that adults would embarrass themselves in that way. Over a football team they are completely disinterested in.
