Yep I mean not the spirit of the rules, but after all the noise from those ****ing uncultured Septics … **** em
I don't think it's that strange, golf is a game where for 2 years outside of the Ryder cup every one of them is on their own, caddies aside, playing for themselves and themselves alone. I think to get to the very top you have to be single minded and a bit of an arse and suddenly being in a team scenario won't be for everyone. It's mad but historically the Europeans ha e always had more team spirit, no rhyme or reason as to why....for this edition tho I think it's very telling that all the US players are being paid whilst our lads couldn't give a **** about getting some money for it
Really hope we get back towards a handsome win. Other option win by the half a point we got for not even stepping on the first tee.
Ebbs and flows on the final day, always does...Hoping we do the business by Lowry(I've got a bit of money on him sinking the winner),if not won't be far away from that. Anyone that thinks that European and British fans are any less partisan really need to put their hands in their pockets/save up and go to Limerick in 27
European fans have more respect for protocol, they're as rowdy but wont do half of what the US fans do when they're stood over shots. We're also a lot more imaginative with chants and bantering players..... as someone has commented on FB, the US fans have only got one chant and have had to keep it as simple as possible so their lot don't forget the words....
Getting a bit squeaky bum out there, could go down to the wire. McIlroy's having a mare, DeChambeau's chipping away at his deficit. Up in 3, tied in 4 but USA in the ascendancy.
A lot hinges on Rose and Fleetwood in the first 2.If they draw at worst it could be Aberg to putt for the tournament.
McIlroy looks absolutely knackered, and hardly surprising. Rose, the oldest out there, hanging in brilliantly. I'm having to watch the American coverage, hard work at times.
Despite us only needing 2 points to retain it, this remains compulsive viewing, just hope Fitz doesn't bottle it, but credit where credits due, there's some excellent golf going on, from both sides.
