18 year old ffs. They don't learn this hatred at school, they pick it up at home and online. Generational racism is alive and well, nationalism dressed up as patriotism.
I wonder if Tommy Robinson turns up today for the march in Newcastle? All police leave has been cancelled as possible big turnout.

https://www.markpack.org.uk/175342/...t6DlttQ7GiqhYV3XTI_aem_qMuVm2_tLDFDzx8MBf-I2Q Quite shocking really. If anyone disagrees that Reform are unelectable for government based on this I’m keen to hear your argument. Even worse when you look at the reasons behind it. I’d argue even if you are blind to Farage and his lies and tax avoidance, you have to say his team are miles away from readiness.
I’ve heard people on here say that they think immigration is needed and benefits us and has been important for the country but that they don’t like ‘illegal migration’ (doesn’t technically exist but let’s say it means boats). Farage is going after those who have been here for years, so all migration, all foreigners. I wonder if that puts a few off Reform or flushes out honesty from those who don’t like (largely coloured) foreigners. Guessing it’ll do a bit of both.
Hope this is a success. But ONLY because it will split the Far Right Vote, come a General Election. As for the next Election, and providing, providing that Farage is still a threat, (and in Politics little is certain), I expect that the 'silent majority' most of who are middle of the road, will do what I will do. Vote for any candidate who looks like they have a chance of beating the extremists.
A story about a dad trying to calm his child while ICE masked agents start breaking his windows. Not a criminal. Complying with processes, married to US citizen, working. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/ice-preschool-arrest-oregon-video-b2794498.html It’s coming to the UK under Reform, you can tell by this weeks narrative on wider immigration. I don’t think most of the UK want this and we have to sort it. Like you my vote will be carefully placed to keep the extremists out. Interesting that Musk isn’t backing Reform, more Yaxley Lemon - both have busy nostrils.
Through work I see on a daily basis how many new social houses are being built on new housing estates. However, it is amazing how many of these are now occupied by non British residents
