Sit it in the oil and you get it crisping up here and there

then the addition of the broth brings it a nice softness

 

Need to get my slow cooker out and stick it in the work kitchen, have not done one in too long. Night's drawing in and that. Would use shin though.

Doing a Nando's fakeaway tonight. Just me and my two youngest, Mrs Chief is away on a school trip.


Need to decide between red, rose or white!

Epic day at Oasis yesterday.

so recovering on the sofa, flicking through highlights of yesterdays Ryder Cup. Rory telling US crowd to shut the **** up and pinging it to 5 feet and then knocking in a putt and giving them the ‘**** you’

this is what it’s about. Hope trump turns up to present the trophy.

Dog walked, gate fixed, acorns about to be swept, then nine holes with my middle un before settling down to the Ryder cup singles.

I've even washed two loads.
