Alfie Hewett in Singles and Double Finals at French Open. A great ambassador for disabled sport and Norfolk.
Alfie Hewett fought back from heartbreak in the men's wheelchair singles final to clinch a sixth successive French Open doubles title with partner Gordon Reid. The British top seeds claimed a 6-4 1-6 10-7 victory over Japan's Tokito Oda and France's Stephane Houdet. That came after Hewett lost 6-4 7-6 (8-6) to world number one Oda in the singles showpiece.
I know a lot of posters on here watch Fawanews for free sport streams. The site is now FAWANEWS. SC., the old link has stopped working, so you will need to use the new one.
Watching the Ryder Cup, Europe going pretty good. What did surprise me, was apparently the entrance fee for spectators is 750 Dollars a day, WTF
You would think so, but the heckling and abusive language thrown at the European Team is atrocious. Even the commentators are describing it as the worst display of abuse to players they have ever seen. The players were no better either. A couple of times the match officials had to intervene to calm the players. Having watched the Ryder Cup for years, it was usually played in a respectful way as golf generally is. Probably the influence of Trump again.
