Let me put it this way, this was the first time I feel the opposition will go away thinking they snuck a draw. Every other game we have snuck the results.
Borough are yet to lose in the league this season. Considering both Manager and players are still finding their feet, it's a good point.
Yup, you are right of course, but honestly I have seen this sort of crap over and over and over and over again. A lot of top two division clubs have great seasons over the course of 54 years, maybe only a couple of years but they happen. We've had nothing much at all, won the FA Cup I watched that at Wembley, no one else will ever, ever see that again, and we just slump, mooch along, sell our best players and lose and draw stupid games for decades and decades. It is utterly pointless.
Only managed to catch the second half as driving back from t’Norf! Unlucky not to take the 3 points from what I saw, completely different side from against Hull, personnel & skill wise. This has to be the defence going forward, think taking Fellows off took a bit of energy out the front line and maybe should’ve kept it the same for an extra 10 mins. Scienza did well when he came on & Stewart battling right up to the end which is great to see after all his injury troubles!! Same team again on Tuesday please, got to be beating this struggling Sheff Utd team, UTS!!
Boro much better side in second half I thought. First half misses cost us ultimately. Today still a step in right direction though for me.
Agree, we were definitely under pressure at times, but would say it was refreshing to see us try and soak it up and hit them quickly on the break at times too, as we haven’t seen that type of play for a long time & was ultimately what led to our goal

Could definitely be an option when 2 up but for me Scienza for Azaz was the right sub to make as kept the energy moving forward. Just wouldn’t have had Fellows off until 80+ minute. Also Robinson looked energetic in his cameo and I do still want to see more minutes for him too, been v unlucky not to be a starter with pre season / performances at start of season
Not a bad game. We looked pretty solid. Three CB were good. Thought Arma was very good, Stewart put in a shift and Charles was very good. Still needs to learn to go for the jugular. We are 1-0 up and both his next subs made us materially weaker. Taking off fellows who had Boro on toast and replace with Wee man, is managerial suicide. Fellows stays on we win That game. As soon as he went off we lost all attacking impetus
Maybe I'm deluded but we looked pretty decent today. Unlucky not to have all three points against the in-form team of the division. I'm confident Still, and the team, are improving steadily as we move away from the disruption of relegation and the transfer window. Sure we want to win games, but I feel some of us are getting far too carried away with expectations!
I think with all of the changes from the Hull game, it also shows the depth in squad quality that we have. That's very much going to be needed with mid week games starting this coming week.
