Match Day Thread Picking Up The Pieces Wombles v Chairboys 27 Sept 25 12.30ko

The newly rejuvenation Chairboys travel to South West London to take on the Dons at Plough Lane and our first early KO of the season and we will be looking to maintain our new found form, the Dons have started the season well on their return to the third tier winning five and losing four.
Michael Duff has hit the ground running after a week in charge and long may it last.
I will be watching via the Sky Sports platform hopefully the lads continue with the Duff affect on our climb up the table

 

It will be interestring to see what team he puts out, when you think we have had two wins, with completly different starting elevens

 

I suspect that any good team work and understanding he spotted in those 2 games between two or three players will influence his choice in order to achieve fluidity. Interesting headache for him as opposed to the easy task of knowing who not to play

 

I would love to see McNeill start tomorrow i know he's only 19 but he looks a class player.

We have had some bad luck under Dodds with shots saved in top and bottom corners. Maybe our luck changed in the last 2 games and we were all getting over-excited about actually winning. Now that our defence has conceded under Duff, let's see what we are really made of
